ABOUT MGC

Founded by Max and Celia Grigsby at their dining room table in March 1974, MGC is a dealer organization dedicated to selling the finest interior products utilized in K-12, College and Universities, healthcare, industrial, government and commercial environments. After a very successful career, Max and Celia decided to retire in 1997. The company was sold at that time to two tenured employees, David Mahood and Wes Furgerson.  With our corporate headquarters in Houston, TX, MGC has expanded its operations from the original Southern half of Texas to all of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Southern Mississippi, and Arizona.  MGC has branch offices in Dallas, San Antonio, Tulsa, and Baton Rouge. 

From our humble beginnings, MGC has grown to over 110 employees and our Houston complex encompasses over 67,000 square feet of office, manufacturing, and warehouse space.  MGC operates as a full service dealer with services including programming, budgeting, on-site project management, design, and value engineering.

MGC has the privilege in being the exclusive dealer for Mott Manufacturing, one of the most modern and flexible laboratory casework and fume hood manufacturers in the world. Established over 45 years ago, Mott is an ISO 9001:2008 registered manufacturer with a wide variety of fume hood and flexible laboratory casework systems to meet any laboratory design needs.

MGC is also an exclusive dealer for one of the country’s leading plastic laminate casework manufacturers, Case Systems..Case uses state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and processes and higher grade materials than the industry standards for precisely-built, aesthetically pleasing healthcare and educational casework.

In addition, MGC represents many of the top scientific equipment manufacturers in the country including Norlake Scientific for environmental rooms, refrigerators, and freezers.
